オブリガート・コントラバスと室内オーケストラのための現代音楽です。

「オブリガート」とは「対旋律、助奏」の意です。

全体に「調性構造」に則らない「調性感覚」をフィーチャーしてあります。

ソロコントラバスの扱いについては、今までのコントラバス協奏曲や、無伴奏コントラバス独奏曲の欠点を修正したつもりです。

コントラバスというものは、他の3種の弦楽器、バイオリン・ヴィオラ・チェロに比べて、開放弦の倍音や鳴りが支配的になりがちなため、全体に丁寧に音を出すことを心がけ、その欠点を避けるよう心掛けました。

This is contemporary music for obbligato double bass and chamber orchestra.

Obbligato" means "counter-melody, auxiliary".

The whole piece features a "sense of tonality" that does not follow a "tonal structure".

In the treatment of the solo double bass, I have tried to correct the shortcomings of previous double bass concertos and unaccompanied solo double bass pieces.

Compared to the other three stringed instruments, violin, viola and cello, the double bass tends to be dominated by the overtones and ringing of the open strings, and I have tried to avoid this shortcoming by being careful to produce the sound throughout.
